Sorry to disturb.
Here is my problem: I do ahve a mouse with a wheel.
With emacs 20.6, the wheel was mouse-4 mouse-5.
Now describe-key says nothing when I turn this dear wheel ...
Any inkling as to what I should do ?
Many thanks in advance !! (working with SuSE 7.0)
Olivier

1. You're more likely to get answers in gnu.emacs.help or comp.emacs, I
supsect.
2. Is Emacs the only thing you upgraded? Or did you also change
kernel, or upgrade to XFree86 4, or something like that?

RMAIL can work with MIME; check http://www.cinti.net/~rmoody/rmime

The flow chart is a most thoroughly oversold piece of program documentation.

You're right, I tried xev and the wheel gets also ignored there.
I stupidly thought it was a trouble with emacs. I got from
SuSE 6.4 to SuSE 7.0 to be on the same distribution than
someone else... The XF86Config is alright I think (same as
when the wheel worked...). And the wheel works in netscape
if I plugin the proper code.
Now that I see the problem is elsewhere, I'll think some
more...
Many thanks ! -- I discovered xev and I know the wheel *should* work !

To end this discussion in case anyone went around:
I edited /etc/XF86Config intead of /etc/X11/XF86Config...
That was XFree86 v 4.
Best !
