It does the same thing. A /bin/sh is ubitquitous though, Perl is not.
I wonder why this hasn't been implemented in GnuPG
itself. Is --pgp2signencrypt hard to implement if so many people want
it?
Oh, and the script doesn't like to be used for this purpose:
