Hi!

I'm using gnus-gather-threads-by-subject (Oort Gnus v0.11)

More often than not I get threads of messages that, to my eye, aren't
talking about the same things, like eg.

R + [  61: Brendan Kosowski       ] Re: tcpdump problem
R   [  12: John Brooks            ]   `-> Sendmail and NIS files

The second article doesn't reference the first, so all in all, they
shouldn't have any connection whatsoever.  How comes, timing problem,
hidden fields, black magic?

Hm.  There is no References or In-Reply-To headers in the second
message that points to the first?
