When I'm plugged, and I do a "g", the number of articles in those groups remains reported as "*" (although other groups get a number). When I'm unplugged, "g" updates the article count as I'd expect. At work, I read the groups from 3dfx's news server, so I could believe that something with that is different, but at home they're from the same server as all the rest of the groups. Does anybody else see this, or do things work OK for everybody else, and should I therefore investigate my ISP's server?
