Hi,

do you plan to make some target like

%.elc: %el
        ${EMACS} ...

for all elisp files in lisp/? Or tell me, how do you compile the changed files
after cvs update... :-) My computer is very slow and I'm lazy enough to type
the whole string emacs -no-init-file -no-site-file -.....
