So I created a Gmail account, and went to the server buffer and hit `RET' on the nnmap method. It queried me for user name and password, even though that's already in the .authinfo file, and then said: imap: Connecting to imap.gmail.com... imap: Opening SSL connection with `openssl s_client -quiet -ssl3 -connect %s:%p'...done Waiting for response from imap.gmail.com...done imap: Plaintext authentication... imap: Login successful... imap: Could not UTF7 encode `*', using it unencoded... imap: Could not UTF7 decode `[Gmail]', using it undecoded... imap: Could not UTF7 decode `INBOX', using it undecoded... etc etc etc for quite a while. Each of these took several seconds, so I just grew impatient and stopped the thing. Is that normal? -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.) larsi@gnus.org * Lars Magne Ingebrigtsen
