Subject: long line warning & URLs
Date: Fri, 11 Apr 2003 09:07:17 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3brzdyq4q.fsf@fischman.org> (raw)

Hi there,

I like that message warns me when I'm about to post a message with lines
that are too long. However, I wish it would NOT ask me about lines that
are only too long b/c there's a long (google groups, most likely) URL
involved. Does it seem like a good idea to people to change the
"long-lines" syntax check to ignore URL lines?

Cheers,
