So I don't > quite understand what you're saying here. Haven't you got that the wrong way round? Servers are added to Agent by using "J a" in the Server buffer. Groups are added to Agent categories by using "J a" in the Group buffer. The problem is that Agent tries to download every group belonging to all Agent-subscribed servers regardless of whether the group is Agent-subscribed or not. If the group is not Agent-subscribed then the "default" category is used to download all the articles into the nntpd buffer. When the last article that matches the "default" predicate downloaded then Gnus hangs. -- Eze Ogwuma
