Re: bad (i.e. serious) mail problems

Hope this isn't off the wall but, could this be done by what ever
application is retrieving your mail?  (assuming Gnus is not) Mail
handling apps put a (>) in front of all lines beginning with "From" to
avoid confusing them with the Unix format line beginning with "From"
but no colon.
