> parameters are processed before MIME so I can accept the current
> working.

IIRC, eGroups adds the banner to the HTML portions too, it puts in a
<br> followed by the ad text.

Pay for the "no-ads" option on eGroups ;-), or rehost the list to a
different MLM.
