I've been trying to use the agent to download posts off Corel's
support server, which is running some version of DNEWS. Download goes
fine, except right around 200k it stops sending me data. Never quite
the same amount, but it's very consistent.

This is really annoying, of course, since it means I either piecemeal
download articles (keeping it under the 200k limit by trial and
error), or just keep hitting J s C-g J s C-g J s C-g J s C-g ....

Agent works fine everywhere else. Any idea what the problem is?
Maybe they have useless resource limits set or something?

After you break, what are the contents in the " *nntpd*" or " *server ...*"
buffers?

In the " *server ..." buffer are a lot of articles, of the form
below. This is the last one before it gets stuck. I can do another
J s right after breaking, and it'll hang again, but not always in the
same place. (Usually not, in fact.) The backtrace is like this

It is easier to change the specification to fit the program than vice versa.

It may help to know that a similar bug already existed in previous versions of
gnus (if I remember correctly, qgnus). For groups with a large no. of articles
it would hang somewhere (and not always on the same place). So it should be
a problem with older code...

Where was point in the " *server...*" buffer? At the end of the
buffer, or somewhere else?
