I think adding a third buffer might be a bit awkward -- if the user
wants that fine-grained traversal of the MIME article, then the nndoc
alternative would be the one to use.  (`C-d' some multipart articles
and have a peek at how it looks.  I find that very useful when
applying patches encoded in multipart messages, for instance.)
