I just used glimpse to index all my Mail files then I did a search on several of the Message-IDs of messages that had been invisible. They were not duplicated. In this case I was lucky as I have Gnus put a "%" mark against each folder with new mail. The folder was marked but the number stayed the same and the messages were invisible. -- Eze Ogwuma
