A more general problem is that there isn't a function for getting the header of the current part, seemingly. There's lots of code littering gnus-art.el that pops to the original article buffer to get the header from there instead of the current buffer. (Which is necessary, since the current buffer may have the headers removed.) We need a function that will fetch a header corresponding to the current part.
