Hi all Gnus addicted,
First of all, I wish you a great year 2003 (with maybe a 5.10 release ;-))
Here is a little suggestions for the implementation of pgp in Gnus :
When I receive a signed email, I've got that line, which is ugly by
the way :
,----
| [[PGP Signed Part:Julien Avarre (gpg key) <julien@avarre.com>]
`----
When I middle-click on it, I've this verbose text :
,----
| [[PGP Signed Part:Julien Avarre (gpg key) <julien@avarre.com>]
| gpg: armor header: Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux)
| gpg: Signature made Mon 13 Jan 2003 00:27:55 CET using DSA key ID 64F8BD59
| [GNUPG:] SIG_ID KkCBYXC1vJEJTabwfY1F39O2iEs 2003-01-12 1042414075
| [GNUPG:] GOODSIG 691A07BC64F8BD59 Julien Avarre (gpg key) <julien@avarre.com>
| gpg: Good signature from "Julien Avarre (gpg key) <julien@avarre.com>"
| [GNUPG:] VALIDSIG A7983ACEE6663747F7FA012D691A07BC64F8BD59 2003-01-12 1042414075 0
| [GNUPG:] TRUST_ULTIMATE
| ]
`----
The first point is when I click on it again, it doesn't come back to
the simple line of the beginning :-(
The second point is, IMO, it would be nicer to have two new faces for
gpg talks.
- One (probably green ;-)), when the signature (or encryption) is OK
- and another one (should be red) when the authentication failed.
What do you think of that ?
Have a nice week.
