I tried to do that a while back to prevent flyspell from changing it when I use a swedish dictionary and `flyspell-maybe-correct-transposition' in `flyspell-incorrect-hook'. This, however made flyspell barf and die. Some experimentation seemed to indicate that this always happens when flyspell encounters read-only text.
