This is not about Pterydactl ---
I recently upgraded from FSF v20.3 to FSF v20.4, and in the process
there appears to have been some changes in semantics. For some
reason, in Gnus v5.7, I can no longer display Japanese messages. When
I open directly the nnml files that the Gnus back-end created for me,
I can view them in Japanese no problem, but the *Article* buffer shows
only gibberish. This was not a problem with FSF v20.3, and I have
changed nothing in my .gnus file. Does anyone know what changed for
Gnus or Emacs?
Dave

There has been a *lot* of work on the Mule-related code in
Pterodactyl, so I'd suggest just upgrading to that.
