Ok, so I got bored today (or more appropriately, mad enough at work
that I had to take a break), so I got some simple speech-to-command
recognition software to call gnudoit it control gnus...

I can now read my mail without having to touch the keyboard! Whee...

(If only it were a touch faster, or could at least queue things).

Ooh. Is the speech-to-command software free? Where can one get it?

There is something called ears which does this. I have not actually
tried this myself, but it should be here:
http://www.tmt.de/~stephan/ears.html

The author has indicated that he no longer works on this, and that the
recognition isn't very good, but it might work for you.

Hans

I couldn't get it to compile with a modern g++, and wasn't willing to
find an old one to compile it with...
