Where as prior to entering edit mode messages opened for reading have varied color headers as set with 'Customize". Checking the major mode with the command 'M-: Shows 'gnus-summary-mode' as expected but the color headers remain colorless until either the buffer is killed and group reopened or close gnus and restart. -- Harry Putnam reader@newsguy.com
