After some more testing I now agree with you. In the process of sending that message I used gnus-summary-resend-message-edit. It presented me the raw MIME encoded message (no #part sections) and the Content-Type set to 'multipart/mixed; boundary="=-=-="'. By the looks of it, Gnus is setting the Content-Type to text/plain when the message is resent. Is this the expected behaviour or have I missed a configuration option?
