Didn't work for me.
I just had:
X-Authentication-Warning: wash-382.res.umass.edu: nick set sender to nick@coelacanth.com using -f
And no Sender field in the header.
Xemacs 21.1 GNUS v5.8.8
Anyway, why isn't this configurable in the customize menus?
