Lots of changes.

First, all the charset variables have changed, and things are probably
broken there.

Second, I've gotten rid of gnus-article-display-hook, and instead,
there's a gazillion variables. `M-x customize RET gnus-article-treat RET'
to see them all, although I've probably forgotten a few.

No documentation for these changes yet.

Get it from <URL:http://www.gnus.org/pgnus.tar.gz> or
"/ftp@quimby.gnus.org:/pub/gnus/". The patch is available as
<URL:ftp://quimby.gnus.org/pub/gnus/ding-patches/pgnus-0.70-0.71.diff.gz>.

picons seem to be broken. I tried setting gnus-treat-display-picons
to `head' (the default for me), and t, but neither worked. No picons
were displayed, either in my Article buffer or in my Picons buffer.

The group for gnus-treat-display-picons seems to be wrong - shouldn't
it be gnus-article-treat instead of gnus-article?

Okidoke. I've now defaulted gnus-treat-display-xface to nil iff this
isn t.

| Second, I've gotten rid of gnus-article-display-hook, and instead,

Does this mean that Ptero handles Quoted Unreadable all by itself?

Cause I've got a (add-hook 'gnus-article-display-hook
'gnus-article-de-quoted-unreadable), and if I remove it, I still don't
see QP.

And. Ooh. Ooh. After upgrading from 0.69 to 0.71 I get all sorts of
icky colors when reading messages, some bizarre blue kind of color for
quoted text. I don't want this. I want luscious black and white. How
do I turn this completely off?

(May I add that the default colors are just plain yucky?)

Pterodactyl Gnus has handled quoted-printable since practically the
beginning. That's what MIME support is all about, after all. :-)
