There is spam.el, but how to use it? How is it intended to be used?

Right now, you can manually use some of the functions that Lars wrote,
and you can mark messages as spam. But the good stuff is not there.
I won't be able to work on the spam stuff for 2 more weeks at least
(broken hand), so if someone wants to pick it up they can.
Unfortunately the injury came just when I was about to start the work :(
I've outlined what I thought was the right direction (with help from
others) in earlier messages; let me know if anyone needs a digest of
all those.
