Subject: Request for mod to NoCeM stuff
Date: Wed, 25 Aug 1999 17:55:04 GMT	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3ogfv691q.fsf@duchess.twilley.org> (raw)

I have NoCeM enabled, and it's kinda cool, except when it's not.

One of the most not-cool parts is when it snarfs NoCeM stuff from
newsgroups.

I get this kind of line in my minibuffer:

Checking article xxxxxxx in news.lists.filters for NoCeM...

Where xxxxxxx changes rapidly.

I'd like it to change to the following:
Checking article xxxxxxx of yyyyyyy in news.lists.filters for NoCeM...

Or even:

Checking zzz articles in news.lists.filters for NoCeM...

Where zzz is (yyyyyyy - xxxxxxx), and yyyyyyy is the last message in
the group.

Does this seem unreasonable or unfeasible?

Jack.
