I use maildrop because I handle some high-volume folders with mutt rather than Gnus. procmail stinks, it's hard to use correctly (error handling) and results in bloated and near unreadable configuration files; after virtually every rule you need :0e { EXITCODE=75 HOST } which essentially defeats :0E rules on the go.
