Hi gnus-folk,

I believe the search form at http://www.gnus.org/list-archives/ding/
is broken. I'm not getting hits of any kind.

Indeed.

Jason, you're running that thing, aren't you? Is it feeling poorly?

Funny. I wrote it and that other Jason runs it.

Unfortunately the archive search software (Wilma) uses Glimpse as its
backend, and Glimpse likes to freak and corrupt its indices and such. So
occasionally the indices need to be dumped and completely regenerated.

I have a partially-written replacement based on htdig, but it's nowhere
near done and time is always short.

See? That's what makes it so convenient. :-)

Perhaps it could just be put into a cron job or something?

It should be fixed now, sorry about that.

In this case, it was a path problem in the .cf file. Glimpse doesn't
like following symlinks apparently.
