If you mean like this:
(require 'nntp)
(add-hook 'nntp-server-opened-hook 'nntp-send-authinfo)
Doesn't seem to change anything when I put it in .xemacs-options so
tried it in .emacs. Still didn't help anything. But it least it didn't
prevent qgnus from using the new .authinforc file When I run
emacsc-qgnus
So is the other part of my query a bad move or what:
