When I bring up a newsgroup, I started getting listings for articles that weren't there. When I look with tin, the articles are there. So I mark all the messages as read, and then re-enter the group in an attempt to read all the old messages. Once all of the old messages are brought up, the thread I was looking for no longer exists. what am I missing? this behavior happens with pgnus-0.98 and gnus-5.8.2 -- Eric S.
