I gather that it would require copyright assignment or placing it in the public domain; I don't know if there are any other obstacles. I think perhaps the only significant benefit would be visibility, though, and that purpose could be served just as well by adding some links to the manual, the gnus.org site, etc., pointing to nnmaildir, nnir, and other such useful Gnus-related bits. paul
