I'm using an X11 Emacs window with one of these fonts:

-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--13-120-75-75-C-70-ISO10646-1
-gnu-unifont-medium-r-normal--16-160-75-75-c-80-iso10646-1

What happens if you do:

     `M-x list-charset-chars RET mule-unicode-2500-33ff'

(that's where I found the line drawing chars).
