Subject: group parameter question
Date: Mon, 13 Dec 1999 22:38:40 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3vh621py7.fsf@nozomi.rhein-neckar.de> (raw)
I tried to set the following as group parameter:
((gnus-list-identifiers "\\[dusseldorf [0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]\\]"))
but this is completely ignored. Setting it globally in .gnus with
(setq gnus-list-identifiers "\\[dusseldorf [0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]\\]")
works correctly though. Using (gnus-show-threads nil) as a group
parameter works as expected.
It looks like only certain variables have an effect when set as a
group parameter while others have no effect.
Why? Which variables should work and which variables shouldn't?
Mike
