Some users at my site have the problem that they cannot start Gnus, it
shows the splash screen then bugs out with a message saying that
gnus-methods-equal-p is a void function.
Putting (require 'gnus-sum) in ~/.gnus or ~/.emacs solves the problem.
I don't have this problem, so I cannot really say more. Lars, do you
want one of those users to send you a bug report so that you can see
their settings?

Well, that function is only used in gnus-sum, so that's weird.
