Hi,

* start emacs
* start gnus
* enter any newsgroup
* press C-u g (this should be the first previewing!)
* then any attempt to preview any message produces an error:

Signaling: (void-variable gnus-article-decode-hook)
  gnus-request-article-this-buffer(2691 "nnmbox:mail.misc")
  gnus-article-prepare(2691 nil)
  gnus-summary-display-article(2691 nil)
  gnus-summary-select-article(nil force)
  gnus-summary-show-article(nil)
* call-interactively(gnus-summary-show-article)

	Best regards, -- Vladimir.

This is weird. `gnus-article-decode-hook' is defined in gnus-art.el,
as is `gnus-request-article-this-buffer', so this should be
impossible, unless you unbind this variable...
