Right, a count might be nice...  I'll keep it in mind when (or if) I
tackle the IDLE issue.

So far, there's three use cases for idling on INBOX:

1) Pull down and split everything there

2) For server-side splits, just update the INBOX group -- the
interesting mail is in the INBOX

3) Just report the number of unsplit messages in INBOX, so that it can
be acted on manually
