nnimap-request-newgroups returned nil, so it was ignored.  This might
work now...

Do you know how to do that?

Reading the code, it looks like it does:

(deffoo nnmh-request-create-group (group &optional server args)

[...]

      (nnmh-possibly-create-directory group)
