Well. I'm more awake now. Put the following function into my .gnus and
bound it to "C-A" - now "E" expires, and "CTRL-A" archives. This seems
nice enough. Thanks for your help.

Oh. And I set the first argument to "nil" so you can tag several
messages and archive them all at once.
