Subject: Printing UTF-8
Date: Sat, 01 Dec 2001 10:34:14 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3zo53b55l.fsf@barnowl.demon.co.uk> (raw)
I have an item of mail in gnus which I wish to print. The problem is
that it is using UTF-8 encoding. It displays OK on screen, but refuses
to print. I type "A P" in the summary buffer, and am greeted with the
message "font for some characters not found. Continue y/n" I press y
and the message "printing done" is displayed, but no output is put
into the queue. "A P" works perfectly for other mail.
Is this a problem with gnus (cvs as of 30/11/01), emacs 21.1,
ghostscript or what? Any suggestions as to how to print the mail?
