You're quite right as usual ;) Strange though - I had put a command line switch on to put nognus in there, but for some reason *some* of the nognus code base was loaded (nnimap very very fast!) and other elements from the system gnus were loaded. ;; (add-to-list ;; 'command-switch-alist ;; '("nognus" . Why the above didnt work I'm not sure - something to do with when they are run I guess - I need to look into it.
