This seems to be "bignum"[1] related. I just tried in a SXEmacs that
didn't have bignum. I got a similar warning, but SXEmacs kept on
going.
So this is most likely a SXEmacs thing, but possibly a problem for
bignum enabled XEmacs 21.5 too.
