Subject: g-d-charset or charset in group parameter doesn't work
Date: Tue, 20 May 2008 19:36:01 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <microsoft-free.m1fxsc2xke.fsf@m.ournature.org> (raw)
Hi,
I have several groups where headers such as Subject or From are not
usually encoded properly. I've tried to set gnus-default-charset or
charset in group parameter in both Gnus/5.110011, which is included in
Carbon Emacs, and cvs gnus. In Article buffer, headers are rendered
correctly, but In Summary buffer, all the non-latin characters are
rendered like '??????'. If I do "M-x
gnus-summary-show-article-from-menu-as-charset-euc-kr", headers are
rendered correctly.
Is there a fix or workaround?
