Hi Lars!

Sorry for not replying to the message where you asked me to give
examples, but somewhere along the line of testing and reconfiguring
multiple versions of Gnus, it um, got deleted. :-(

Anyway, I was talking about Gnus not picking up as many picons as it
used to.

This 1st screenshot is of the "From:" header of one of my own posts,
using Gnus v5.8.8:

[-- Attachment #2: Picons in 5.8.8 --]
[-- Type: image/png, Size: 2123 bytes --]

[-- Attachment #3: Type: text/plain, Size: 161 bytes --]

Note how there is a picon representing the user name part of the email
address.

This 2nd screenshot is of the same article, but this time using Oort
v0.05:

[-- Attachment #4: Picons in Oort v0.05 --]
[-- Type: image/png, Size: 1803 bytes --]

[-- Attachment #5: Type: text/plain, Size: 698 bytes --]

Note missing picon for "youngs". Oh, and this also shows how the
picons aren't "replacing" the text, but rather are there in addition
to the text.

I just received an internal email from 'root' on my system, it didn't
have the tree-root picon.

Also, if I don't set 'gnus-picon-databases' I don't see *any* picons.
In case you are wondering, my picons are in '/usr/local/faces/', one
of the default directories that Gnus is supposed to search in.
