Subject: [Q] What's the system name for in Xrefs ?
Date: Thu, 13 Oct 2005 17:23:07 +0200 [thread overview]

Hi !
When an article is accepted and saved on an nnml server, the Xref header is
created with the result of (system-name), followed by "group:number".
What's the purpose of the system name, and what happens if for instance,
you're running Gnus once on another machine, with your nnml directories
mounted by NFS ??
Thanks.
