Subject: [PB] with my eld ?
Date: 25 Apr 2000 11:29:53 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <muxya62cyum.fsf@uzeb.lrde.epita.fr> (raw)
Something has been recently fucked up big time in my Gnus (by me
probably :-): the symptoms are the following:
- I have an nntp server in gnus-select-method
- I have two mail servers and another nntp server as
gnus-secondary-select-methods.
- when I start Gnus, native groups are not updated (I see a star instead of
the number of unread articles).
- after the first `g', those groups are updated correctly.
- from now on, I occasionally get mails splitted in the archive server instead
of the mail server. Most of the time, mails from mailing lists lead to a new
group creation of the form nnml+archive:the-list. If I enter this group and
resplit, the mail goes in the good group: nnml+mail:the-list
I'm not sure if it's related, but there's this line in my .newsrc.eld
which looks suspect to me:
(setq gnus-server-alist '(("archive" nnml "archive" (nnml-inhibit-expiry t) (nnml-active-file "~/Mail/archive/active") (nnml-directory "~/Mail/archive/"))))
Any ideas ? Thanks.
