And I didn't have any problem when using thunderbird, opera and evolution. But I want Gnus! :'( I noticed one more thing: when updating the group buffer with 'C-u g', it's all the same, but after hitting C-g, the display of the imap groups is updated. Means, the number of new articles are displayed in the group buffer. Not always correct, because when entering a group with e.g. 5 new messages, only 2 are displayed then. I suppose this has something to do with the fact that I read mail with one of the mentioned programms in the meantime, which I swear I will never do again, if this problem could be solved ... -- Martin
