Hello, Richard. I received a message fragment, show below:

   [...]

   <color><param>ffff,0000,0000</param>Do you see colours here?</color>
   <color><param>0000,0000,ffff</param><<--- that is red...
   </color><color><param>0000,8080,0000</param><<--- that is blue
   </color><color><param>8080,0000,0000</param><<--- that is green
   </color><color><param>ffff,0000,ffff</param>[etc.]

</color>Eudora Pro is capable of this too but there are incompatibilities
between email software products with all formatting and rendering is then
very randomly done at the other side. [...]

to be seen in Enriched mode.

Emacs `enriched' mode does not properly decode colors above, yet it does
for other Enriched features elsewhere, elided in the quote above. It may
well be argued whether it should or not, as the above writings are not
part of the standard (so far that I know). Emacs `enriched' introduces
its own extensions for colors. It all depends on how inter-operable you
want Emacs `enriched' to be with other Enriched extensions, like Eudora's.

This is surely not a big matter for me, but I wanted to bring it to your
attention, nevertheless.

P.S. - Copy to `ding', some people there might be interested in this matter.
