But what if I `C-g' while it says `Scoring articles' or `Generating
summary'?  The problem has never occurred with `C-g' at the prompt.

Yep, I'm keeping my eyes wide open for new occurrences of it.  I was
just hoping this would ring a bell on someone :-(
