OTOH, Gnus users are not exactly typical... I'm not sure about that in this case. Given a command with the following docstring: Documentation: Delete the N next (mail) articles. This command actually deletes articles. This is not a marking command. The article will disappear forever from your life, never to return. I think a typical Gnus user would expect the article to disappear, dammit. As would a non-typical one. Robert
