Hi,

Semms this is a bug. When I am connected and try to display an article,
it is quite quick but whenever I do it in unplugged state, time
increases a lot.

First, I thought that was related to key verification, but it also
happens when no signature or encryption is present in the message.

Any idea ?

Cheers,

zeDek

Try benchmarking stuff. `M-x elp-instrument-package RET gnus RET', then
select an article, and then `M-x elp-results RET'.

(Note that you'll probably have to restart Emacs to get totally rid
of all the instrumentation.)
