Hi,

My 'daily question' for today ;)

What is the difference (if any) between an article marked as 'r' and one
marked as 'R' ?

My opinion is 'R' is a really read article (ie. I actually have read it)
and 'r' is one I marked read but I didn't read it. Right ?

Regards

It's all in the manual:

,----[ (info "(gnus)Read Articles") ]
| `r'
| These are articles that the user has marked as read with the `d'
| command manually, more or less (`gnus-del-mark').
|
| `R'
| Articles that have actually been read (`gnus-read-mark').
`----
