Hello,

I guess this feature is implemented in Gnus even if I didn't check.

I just want to know if there are special constraints in the image
format ? I mean what kind of image type can I use for that ?

Thanx

As it's not mentioned in the Gnus manual, I don't think that it's
implemented in Gnus.

BTW, what is "X-Image-Url"? Which newsreaders do support it?

Bye, Reiner.

Dunno.

It appears to replace the 'X-Face' header as the URL was an image of the
sender's face.

Normally EXMH and Mail.app support it AFAIK. I am pretty sure other can
do this too.

Sounds like nice hook for spammers.

I don't think that sounds like a good idea. It could be used to
track whether you read mail, and so on.

An email client shouldn't connect to anything unless the user
specifically requests it.
